No woman in her right mind wants a white work apron!!! Formal / dress aprons are shorter and made from better fabrics and sometimes have fancy stitching or other detailed work. I don't know about you but I am certainly able to make a mess that needs the largest apron possible! They are also good, durable, stain hiding prints or solids.

Think about it, if you are working you want that coverage. Work aprons are almost as long as the dress skirt or the same length. There are two kinds of aprons work and dress. You can either gently push the pins through all of the layers of fabric to attach your apron or you can pin them to your apron only and then fasten the apron to the dress from the back using smaller modern pins.ДЄ few notes on aprons as there are some misconceptions out there.
